I spent a huge chunk of the day doing schoolwork.
I spent a couple of hours working on my plan of care that is due next Friday. I got all of my information sorted and typed into the format it needs to be in. Now I just need to look up interventions for my top nursing diagnosis.
I had to get out of the house (per usual) and went for a run.
There was a giant toadstool that was a brilliantly bright color:
I returned to my front door and found these two fellas.
We saw a lot of these at GirlScout camp (mainly in the latrines) . I am 99% sure they are daddy long legs; at least I hope they are.
I had lunch and jumped right back into schoolwork.
I watched this week's lecture for my online Research class and then read the chapter that corresponded with the lecture. I posted my weekly contribution to the discussion board and moved on.
I did this week's reading for Maternity and that puts me up to date on all the reading for our first exam. Well, everything but Chapter 8 in the novel "Pushed".
I just have 1 and half days of classes and then my mom will be here. I am looking forward to 5 days away from school. I'm going to have some studying to do...and paper work (plan of care) to work on...but being physically away from school for 5 days will be amazing!
I would be lying if I didn't feel like I was drowning in schoolwork right now. I'm paddling my little heart out to stay afloat. It's mainly this plan of care that I feel is hanging over me...grr.
Off to escape in my daily TV shows.
Night!
