Moving on to Day 4
I awoke to a freezing room (just the way I like it). I snuggled under the covers to stay warm while Merri finished her shower.
I got ready in just about 10 minutes and made my way up to breakfast at 7:15 AM.
After a great meal we all headed down to the clinic to begin the week =)
We all gathered in a circle to pray and began.
The clinic doors opened at 8:15 AM.
Dr. Bush, Becki, and I were introduced to our translator Diana (who I mentioned yesterday).
We were given our first patient and by the third we were a fine tuned machine.
Here I am celebrating Dr. Bush's extraction!
We got to work on Esther (Dr. Debbie and I worked on her last year). It was great to see her again along with the rest of her family.
Remember the guest pastor I mentioned yesterday?
Esther is his daughter.
Here is Kerri cleaning his teeth.
and here is Tamara cleaning his wife's teeth
...and Cristi doing a bit of modeling
While we worked on a lady, her cute daughter played in the waiting room.
Peggy bounced a ball back and forth with her.
the face of an angel!
At some point after lunch, the pastor and his family came to say goodbye.
I did know they had been staying in the clinic so I realized a room would be opening up. I asked Kerri if I could have the room and voila...it was mine.
I moved my stuff and had my own room again.
hello new room!
hello new bathroom!
After a hard day's work, we headed out to dinner.
