My second Adult Health Exam was this morning and I didn't feel completely prepared. I got some studying in on Wednesday and 4 hours in yesterday. I just wasn't up to my standard. I'll forgive myself and not freak out about it. You know why? Because I had the time of my life this past weekend. So go ahead and shoot me for enjoying my summer "break".
The test was challenging. I feel like they teased us after the first one. I thought it might have been my horrible studying, but most felt the same as me afterwards. It was probably a combo of both.
After the test, we moved right on into learning about cardiovascular disorders.
As interesting as all that is...I was focused on the space shuttle launch.
I had it streaming live on my computer.
I couldn't help but countdown: 10...9...8.....3...2...1...
BLASTOFF!
I'm over here freaking out about this thing taking off and the professor is over there going on about stents and whatnot.
Forgive me.
There was a big party in the atrium for the faculty of the DUSON today. It seemed to be Hawaiian themed and some were even dressed up. After Adult Health was over, some of the faculty were practically begging us to finish up the leftover food.
Hmmm Don't mind if I do.
During Community Health I started working on my Plan of Care that is due this week (oh noez). It's 20% of our grade this semester. =/
I had a TON of stuff I needed to print out, but the printers have been broken for over a week. Bummer.
A little birdie told me that if I went over to the IT desk that they would let me print from their computer and be able to print off from the mail room upstairs.
So...I start walking towards IT.
And guess what?
I slipped and fell forwards. I banged my left knee (that still has a scab from banging it while playing ski-ball last Friday) and jammed my left toe.
The thing was...there was water all over the floor because it had been raining all day.
One of my clinical groupies saw me fall and asked if I passed out again.
Hardee har har.
Nope.
Just slipped.
Anyways, I got my stuff printed off upstairs.
check out how much I printed |
I came home and worked more on my plan of care.
Today was Stesha's Birthday so we celebrated with Erica at The Cheesecake Factory.
The bummer is...I have clinical tomorrow morning.
I should be asleep.
I can get 7 hours in if I pass out....now!
