So sorry to have been absent these past couple of days.
This has been one crazy week.
Not only did I have an exam, but I have a big paper due by tomorrow that is worth just as much as an exam.
It's probably best that I waited until now to update. I would have rambled on about how stressed I was for this Pharm exam that I had this morning.
It's not that it's crazy hard material; I just didn't have all the time I wanted to study.
I still felt unprepared when I got out of clinical yesterday after 7. I gobbled up some dinner and went over to Stesha's to study. By 9 we had lost our minds. I ended up laying on one of her pool floaties in her living room while she quizzed me. We would swap back and forth. She quizzed me on CNS medications and I quizzed her on pain meds. Then we worked on GI meds together.
I got home around 12:30 and still needed to shower to get all the nastiness of clinical off of me.
I was greeted at the front door by this little guy.
I ended up falling to sleep around 2:30 AM. My alarm was set for 5:30 this morning, but I just couldn't do it. I changed the alarm for 6 and slept 30 more minutes. The only way I convinced myself to get out of bed was telling myself I would skip the rest of the day after the exam. I just could not comprehend sitting up at school until 7 pm. Couldn't do it!!
I swung by Starbucks and sucked down some coffee.

I made it up to school by 6:45. Stesha and I quizzed each other reversing topics this time.
At 8 AM the exam had begun and I calmed down a bit.
It wasn't bad. It really wasn't bad! hurray!
I drove home and hopped in bed. I napped from 11-3:30ish. It felt amazing and I'm starting to feel like a human being again.
The only thing left I had on my Plan of Care paper were the patient outcomes. I typed that up and submitted it. All done.
Time to relax.
I purchased my flight tickets to come home after this semester.
It's official: I'll be home Aug 14-29 and Sept 1-5!!!
