I set my alarm for 6:30 AM this morning just in case.
I checked my email and at 6:27 AM, we were emailed by the school of nursing.
Orientation Day #2: canceled!
I rolled back over and slept until 10 AM!
It felt AMAZING.
I'm glad I moved to a place that treats half an inch of snow the same way Texas does.
I spent the day taking time to cook myself lunch and get some school things done.
I updated the calendar on my computer with the syllabus we were given for Pathophysiology.
I've only done this for two classes and my schedule seems to be overloaded....what have I gotten myself into?
By 4:00, I was bored out of my mind....and going a little stir crazy.
I decided to brave the weather and go for a run.
I needed to test out the roads to see if they were drivable anyways....might as well do it on foot.
I ran the same path I did on Sunday. It was a little tricky on the icy patches.
I noticed that when I ran by a private school the sidewalks were covered with ice. I'm not quite sure why the sidewalks everywhere else were just fine....strange.
I'm thinking they skipped the salting at the school...shame on you!
freezing my butt off
I found a trail that I may tryout sometime. I'm a little weird about hidden paths...I'd rather be in plain sight.
I had a case of the lazies after the run and decided to take the easy way out and grab a Subway sandwich.
I didn't have any problem on the road.
The first day of classes at Duke start tomorrow. For some odd reason they go by Monday's class schedule ...on a Wednesday.
Because of this, I do not have any classes (I have no Monday classes).
I get to sleep in another day.
The only thing I need to do is go up to the nursing building to get my TB test read.
I'm pretty sure we are going to adventure over to the Medical Book Store after that.
The Boyfriend started a blog.
Enjoy!
